Andrew Jefford: Light to medium gold, with faint green glints. Exciting, classical; enticing scents of struck flint and spring leaf; some sweet lime fruit, too. A little free sulfur, but I have no objections, since it will keep the wine fresh. Energetic, lithe, thrusting palate; very sheer and green, arching through the palate like a shot arrow. Vinous and stony to finish. Impressive concentration, poise, and style. Crunchy and mouthwatering—all it should be. Very faintly bitter (a touch phenolic) right at the end16
Andreas Larsson: Young and aromatic, with floral notes, chamomile, and green fruit. The palate is nicely austere, displaying a high level of acidity with green-fruit character and ripe citrus flavors. Medium to long finish13
Stephan Reinhardt: White/yellow color. Very clear and aromatic on the nose, yet still discreet. Dark berries (cassis). Quite rich and intense. Fruitdriven. A mouthful of wine, round and aromatic, with a lingering minerality and salinity. Quite powerful and maybe a little bit overdone with regards to its concentration. Nice fresh citrus flavors in the finish. Good length, with an animating grip. To be decanted. Should be finer and more elegant in two years. Good potential16
