Jasper Morris: Harvested September 8, 13.4% ABV, 40% whole-cluster, 100% new wood for 16 months. First signs of a brick-red color here. The nose is evolving now, a little bit stricter than the ’94— in fact clearly less exotic. There is, however, an impressive density of fruit here, which with the slightly evolving edges denotes a wine entering its perfect drinking window. There is huge persistence throughout. I love what this offers at the finish. |
