Jesús Barquín: Pale yellow. Restrained nose, much more expressive palate, where the lemony flavors are evident. Strongly conditioned by its biological ageing, this is a good example of zingy Finos where the flor has an intense influence, which by the way tend to be a little too bland for my personal taste. 85

Andrew Jefford: Bright green-silver in color. Fresh, classically pungent: pure flor on the nose, with just a little pine lift. Very attractive. Zesty, smooth, fresh: almost seamless in terms of texture and presentation, but then the flor steps forward and accomplishes a scorpion bite or two toward the end, which suddenly gives the wine its meaning and purpose. Delicious. 89

Peter Liem: This is distinctive for its lemony flor, which dominates the dark, full-bodied flavors. It feels simultaneously inhibited by filtration yet intensely individual, with a keenly savory flavor and a forceful personality. It’s not the most refined wine, but it’s intriguing. 89
