Simon Field: Orange to amber, lighter at the rim. Charming nose, the echo of primary fruit adding to its appeal. Palate quite unctuous, Oxford marmalade and a hint of spice. Excellent harmonious juxtaposition of sugar and acidity; the finish quite lifted and almost smoky. 17

Richard Mayson: Pale amber-tawny. Fine nutty aromas if just a touch spirity. Very fine, dry and elegant, lacking a little in fruit but very polished, delicate and refined. The restraint really appeals. 18

Margaret Rand: Fruity, coffee palate, citrus. Lively, elegant, and linear, with great depth and power. Vibrant and confident, very fine. 18
