Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to pink, orange rim. Open, elegant, refined nose with small red fruits, rosewater, hints of vanilla and candied fruits. Layered, refined palate, yet firm, full of personality, with an extremely long finish packed with cranberries, violets, and minerals. A world-class wine that will age gracefully for the next couple of decades. Wow. 19.5

Andrew Jefford: Deep black-red. Lots of coffee and planty complexities; the scent of rummaged earth here, with some oak sweetness but a smoky touch, too. Dense, meaty, dark, and purposeful on the palate, with a linear but very long core of shadowy black fruits and moist licorice spice. Another hugely impressive effort. 16.5
