AJ | Dark-hued though translucent. Sweetly refined scents of perfectly ripe fruit with an oak-copse complexity. Subtle, classic and beguiling though shyer than the best of its peers. On the palate, this is an excellent, classic Brunello in relatively severe style, but complex and long. Again the oak copse and the stony ground fill out the fruit background. Relatively light tannins but the acidity is balanced and measured; some classic Italian cleansing bitters on the finish. Very good for the vintage. Drink Dates: 2025 - 2035. 90
BB | Bright ruby to pink. Open, mature, spicy, ripe black and red fruits, touch decadent nose with mature plums, mushrooms undertones, earthy and complex. Mature, black cherries and prunes, touch green tannins with mineral, crushed stones finish. Drink Dates: 2026 - 2030. 90
