Tim Atkin: Pale garnet/brick-red, with some development. Spicy, peppery, fresh, zesty, light, aromatic Sangiovese. a delicate style, with nuance and freshness and balance. gentle, subtle, elegant winemaking, with some sweetness and a hint of reduction. Slightly warming alcohol on the finish. 15.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Correct color, dumbish nose. good character on the palate; but for now, aggressive acidity and slightly drying tannins make it somewhat inaccessible. Still, it has classic brunello character and every possibility of turning into a lovely wine a few years down the road. the only doubt is whether it will ever quite achieve its potential. drink from 2018. 17

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to tawny rim. Intense, mature nose, with sandalwood, cinnamon, small black fruits, and a smoky, meaty character. Full body, with great sweetness of fruit, a rich mid-palate, and a long, mineral, clean finish. 17.5
