Stephen Brook: Very deep plum red. Rich plummy nose, with Indian spices, cloves, and a perfumed lift. Very rich, suave, full-bodied; nicely textured despite the firm underlying tannins. Has some depth of fruit, good acidity, and ample concentration, spice, and vigor. Fine balance and good length should ensure a good aging potential, too - 17
Jancis Robinson: Dark crimson, with a little evolution on the rim. Treacly and rather alluring in a polished way. Very rich start. Very flashy but in the true Barolo idiom. Pretty tough finish for the moment. Wait! Drink 2015–23 - 16
