Nicolas Belfrage: Medium-full color; correct. Fruit mingles with spice and herb for dominance on nose. Some wood? Quite a chunky wine, tannins noticeable but sweet/savory fruit behind, solid structure matched by well-expressed fruit. Good length. Needs time. Drink from 2016, ideally- 16:

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to brick, tawny rim. Complex small-red-fruits nose, with prunes and cassis. Full-body palate, with sweet black-fruit character; a touch jammy but fairly long and balanced. Young wine that should develop gracefully 16.5

Jancis Robinson: Dark ruby. Quite an intense blackish ruby color. High-toned soapy nose. Very marked tannins. Quite a dense, ambitious wine that is less obviously Piemontese than some. Rather thick and foot-dragging for the moment. Needs quite a time. Drink 2017–25- 15.:
