Bruno Besa: Garnet to tawny. A slightly closed, red-fruit and mineral nose, with crushed stones and hints of petrol and fresh herbs. Medium to full body, balanced with sweet red fruit and a long, mineral finish. Needs a couple of years to open up but a very good effort. 93
Andrew Jefford: Clear, deep, youthful red. Sweet and faintly mentholated. Some glowing red fruits, too; sound and enticing. Pretty, succulent, on the sweeter side, too, but shapely, balanced, and energetic. This will drink beautifully and please. You don’t have to wait a long time but it already has enough inner complexity to ensure the third glass matches up to the first. 90
Michael Palij: Pronounced, ripe, and obvious nose, with black plum, black cherry, sour cherry, red currant, and sweet spices from the oak, including clove and cinnamon. The palate is full-bodied and alcoholic, with ripe, dominant tannins and moderate acidity. Robust and appealing for the short-term. 92Garnet to tawny. Inviting, complex, elegant, refined black and red fruits nose, with rosewater, road tar, blood oranges, oriental spices, and hints of truffles. Balanced and clean, with big yet super-refined tannins. An inviting palate, with clean small red fruits and a long, almost floral finish. Love it. | 95
