Stephen Brook | The nose is fresh and zesty, with nimble cherry aromas and an appealing purity of fruit. This is a lighter style, showing intensity rather than weight, and a lively spiciness and tang. The fine balance compensates for the apparent lack of weight and structure, though it may not be for long cellaring. The finish is graceful and fresh and persistent, but it does lack depth of flavor. | 89

Andrew Jefford | Bright, enticing, and translucent garnet red. Warm, soft, open, faintly tarry fruits; a refined earthiness. Beguiling ripeness and an open, unforbidding aromatic style. Relax and enjoy, it seems to say. Just a touch grassy, perhaps. On the palate, too, it is a little grassy and dry, without quite the wealth of fruit one hoped for. There is ample concentration, fine tannins, and sustaining acidity, but the central palate flesh is subdued, as if the wine spent perhaps six months longer in wood than it really wanted to. A rewarding drink, nonetheless, but I wouldn’t wait much longer. | 86

Michael Palij | Fragrant, almost balsamic notes of incense, cedar, leather, sandalwood, and strawberry. The palate is quite structured, with notes of hawthorn, redcurrant, mint, wet stone, and raspberry jam. The finish is excellent, with ripe fruit, lively acidity, fine tannins, and good length. Not showy but finely crafted and balanced, with the fruit, tannins, and acidity all working together. Will improve until 2027. | 96
