Nicolas Belfrage: Medium, bright. Good type on nose. Plenty of ripe fruit in the mouth, but untogether as of now; alcohol shows through; tannins a bit tough. Needs to be reviewed in a couple of years. 15
Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to pink; tawny rim. Intense, layered, red-fruit nose, with oak, smoke, raw meat, and Bing cherries. Medium to full body with fairly green finish. 14
Andrew Jefford: Dark black-red. Lots of sweet, moist, pruney fruit here, and lots more prune on the palate, too. And there you go; not hugely complex after that, but quite prunily delicious and a wine I’d be very happy to drink. 14.5
