Tim Atkin: Pale ruby/garnet. Pepper and spice on the nose, made in a lighter style. crunchy acidity, refreshing, if a little dry. Tannins spicy and a little firm and dry. High-acid finish. Probably better with food. 13.5

Nicolas Belfrage: Medium everything, including quality. A little more medicinal/herbal than most, but short on the finish. Perfectly okay in the end, but not special. 15.5

Bruno Besa: Deep garnet to orange rim. Aromatic woods on the nose, with mature cherry fruit and hints of coffee, rosemary, and cinnamon. Full body, mature, complex, with an intense and rich mid- palate. Very long and refined on the finish; a muscular red wine of great complexity. 18
