Richard Mayson: Youthful garnet center with a tawny rim. Distinctly high-toned on the nose (vinagrinho—out of place at this age), plenty of ripe berry fruit but with a casky edge. I don’t see the point. 12

Margaret Rand: There’s a slight aniseed note on the nose; punchy fruit, big and vibrant. Pleasurable, but simply not distinguished. 11
