Simon Field: Attractive auburn coloring; expressive nose that combines notes of coffee, herbs, and dried fruit. Palate is broad and quite spirity. When the constituent elements bed down, there should be a wine of real potential. 16.5

Richard Mayson: Pinkish amber-tawny. Not giving away a great deal on the nose, but soft, smooth, and easygoing; creamy fruit with a vestige of spicy tannin. Well balanced, if lacking a little in complexity. 14

Margaret Rand: Sweet sultana syrup and not a great deal more. 10
