SF | Gentle colour, then a simple nose; forest floor and red apples, a whiff of chalk dust. The palate is spritzy, awkward, failing to provide satisfaction. Rather too lean. 87
AJ | Translucent dark black-red. Sweet fruit, chippy oak: this smells like a commodity reading of the DO. Perhaps a bargain price -- takes me back to my days of annual UK supermarket tastings ... A simple, tangy red. Clean and well-fashioned, easy to drink (with a chill) but I can't see this as a great Dao experience or as any sort of fine wineDrink Dates: 2024 - 2026. 85
RM | Mid-deep youthful hue; rather empty cardboardy aromas and light sour, rasping flavours, almost akin to a red Vinho Verde. Very high acidity and unbalanced.Drink Dates: 2024 - 2026. 77
