BUY THE WINE

Bruno Besa | Saturated ruby to pink. Compact, impenetrable, red- and black-fruit nose, with some oak, medicinal herbs, rosemary, road tar, morello cherries, and hints of toasted nuts. Full-bodied, with mature black fruit and big, exuberant tannins, well balanced by the clean acidity and ripe fruit. Long and muscular finish. | 92

Andrew Jefford | Clear, deep black-red. Sweet, meaty, lively aromas, with incense spice, warmly dark fruits, and some dry underbrush, too. Straightforward, chunky, and full on the palate, with ample concentration and wealth, though aromatically less refined than the very best of its peers. | 89

Anthony Rose | Very good youthful ruby hue; lovely nose, mingling gentle oak spice and herb. Very nice fruit weight and clarity of Sangio flavor here, of sweetly ripe cherry and herb, withatouchy- feely tannin texture and juicy fresh acidity and firmness of structure, for overall excellent balance. | 93
